Walking holidays without luggage in the South of Germany

Bavarians and Austrians have quite a bit in common: their hospitality, their congeniality and the cordial way with each other. You get to experience all of it up close during a hiking holiday in Berchtesgaden. However the border area between Germany and Austria is not just worth a visit because of its people. Every year the scenery mesmerises visitors. Soft rolling downs, steep rock faces and paths on level terrain offer ideal conditions for hiking tours of any kind. You have never been to Berchtesgaden? Then allow yourself to be won over by the beauty of South Bavaria with Eurohike.

Walking in the ‚Sport Arena Berchtesgaden’

There is a reason why the Berchtesgadener Land region is called ‚Sport Arena’. Apart from countless hiking routes through nature you also find other options to be active on your holiday. Why not take a break during your tour at a high rope course or golf courses. Try an introduction session where you can dare try the basics of a new type of sport. If you intend to visit the South of Bavaria exclusively for hiking and walking, then you can be assured with Eurohike to always sit high in the bleachers and not miss out on any ‚box seats’. The attractive scenery is another feature to fascinate hikers.

Greetings from Mount Watzmann on the hiking holiday

Mount Watzmann in the Berchtesgaden Alps is steeped in legends. Best known is the Watzmann-legend featuring the cruel king ‚Waze’. Experience first hand during your hiking tour the magic this Berchtesgaden landmark exudes. The wild-romantic Lake Königssee also enthralls holidaymakers time and time again. This lake amidst the Bavarian mountains is considered one of the cleanest lakes in Germany.

The Berchtesgadener Land is proud of its alps and huts. Neat with a rustic interior and homelike atmosphere they are nestling harmoniously in the landscape. In this part of Bavaria too people indulge in the traditional ‚Brotzeit’-meal. Ideal for a break and to recharge your physical energy reserves.
