A smooth start is the best way to begin your journey. To ensure you’re fully prepared from the very beginning, we’re here to support you with personalized service and expert advice. On (almost) all Eurohike original tours, you’ll be warmly welcomed by one of our staff members as soon as you arrive. You’ll receive the contact information for your destination representative, who will be there for you from the moment you meet until your departure.

Personal Welcome Briefing

At the start of your trip, we invite you to a personal welcome briefing. During this meeting, you will receive your travel documents. Alternatively, this package will be available for you at the front desk. After the welcome, we’ll provide a detailed overview: Together with your destination representative, you’ll go through all of the documents. This includes the list of hotels, any vouchers and the contact information for your personal Eurohike contact person.

Insider tips from locals

Our guest relations staff are locals in your chosen vacation region and know the area like the back of their hand. They’re happy to chat with you, whether on the Eurohike bus during transfers between stage locations or when you ask for recommendations and insider tips. Our local staff are happy to share their personal favorite spots.

Personal availability

Waiting on hold at a call center? You’ll never have to do that with Eurohike. Whether you have questions while on the road or encounter unexpected situations, our on-site destination representatives are available to assist you in person. You’ll find your destination representatives business card in your travel documents. In addition, our travel specialists are available by phone 365 days a year.

Personal luggage transfer

As you explore Europe’s most beautiful trails, you’ll hike with just a light daypack. While you’re out enjoying nature, our destination representatives will handle the transfer of your main luggage from one accommodation to the next. We ask that you drop off your luggage at the front desk in the morning. Our staff will pick up your suitcases at the hotel and deliver them to your next accommodation by 6:00 p.m. at the latest.

Optional return transfer

Would you like to return to your starting point comfortably and without having to make any arrangements yourself during your multi-day tour? If so, we recommend our return transfer service. Our destination representatives will pick you up at your accommodation on the day of departure and bring you back safely and reliably to where your journey began. On the way, you can sit back and reflect on all the memories of your trip.
