At the start of your trip, we invite you to a personal welcome briefing. During this meeting, you will receive your travel documents. Alternatively, this package will be available for you at the front desk. After the welcome, we’ll provide a detailed overview: Together with your destination representative, you’ll go through all the contents of the documents step by step. This typically includes the list of hotels, any vouchers for transfers or attractions, train tickets, and the contact information for your personal Eurohike contact person. This ensures you’re fully prepared to start your trip.

As you explore Europe’s most beautiful trails, you’ll hike with just a light daypack. While you’re out enjoying nature, our destination representatives will handle the transfer of your main luggage from one accommodation to the next. We ask that you drop off your luggage at the front desk in the morning. Our staff will pick up your suitcases at the hotel and deliver them to your next accommodation by 6:00 p.m. at the latest—reliably and regardless of the number of bags you have. Depending on availability, we can also arrange a ride-share as part of the luggage transfer upon request.

Our guest relations staff are locals in your chosen vacation region and know the area like the back of their hand. They’re happy to chat with you, whether on the Eurohike bus during transfers between stage locations or when you ask for recommendations and insider tips.
