The high season is in full swing. In order for us to organise wonderful activity holidays for our guests, we need some time to chill. So we can keep things fun, and refuel our energy reserves we took a family vacation to the Wolfgangsee with our colleagues at Eurobike Cycle Tours. There was a great programme waiting for us.
After we parked our busses, the first part of our hiking afternoon included a short boat trip. To catch the last boat we had a short but intense sprint to the dock – not to worry, at least we were warmed up for the upcoming hike. Before that, however, we enjoyed the cool breeze on the ship and admired the sparkling blue Wolfgangsee.
After a sailing for a short time we landed in Ried am Wolfgangsee, the starting point of the day’s hike.
From an initial asphalt road, the tour led us up forest roads to the Scheffelblick. Although the midsummer temperatures made us a little sweaty, the breathtaking view over the Wolfgangsee from Scheffelblick was all the more rewarding.
After a short break we went downhill in the direction of Fürberg. When we arrived, we didn’t miss taking a dip in the Wolfgangsee.
The next and at the same time final point in the programme was a dinner together. With rumbling stomachs, we took our busses to Thalgau. With some delicious food and refreshing drinks, we ended our hiking afternoon nicely.
It was a beautiful evening among colleagues. We are looking forward to our next team activity – thank goodness we don’t have to wait too long for the annual summer party!
