I successfully completed my part-time degree in ‘Development and Management of Tourism Offers’ at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences (today: Innovation & Management in Tourism) in 2005. Since 2000, I have held various positions in marketing, press relations, fundraising and trade fair organisation - parallel to my studies - with exciting insights into the world of tourism and gastronomy.
As part of my work for the British Reed Exhibitions group, I was responsible for promoting major trade and public fairs, including ‘Alles für den Gast - Herbst’, ‘Hohe Jagd & Fischerei’, ‘Tracht & Country’, ‘Alles für den Gast - Wien’ and ‘VinAustria & FineFoodDays’. The trade fair work took me to Salzburg, Vienna and Linz and offered me a colourful variety of tasks and challenges.
In ten years of agency experience, the advertising campaigns and budgets for the ‘Salzburger Christkindlmarkt’ association, for Bavarian lake shipping (Königssee, Tegernsee, Starnberger See, Ammersee, Paul Müller Ship catering, Wendelstein House) and the editorial composition of the EUROPARK magazine were among my personal highlights.
After an intense family time with two wonderful sons, who enrich my life a lot, I am happy to support the Eurofun team as a marketing specialist since my return to work - focussing on content creation, copywriting, newsletters, press relations, blogging and editing.
My great passions are my family, travelling and nature. As half Swedish, I am always drawn to the land of moose, lakes and forests. Writing about nature experiences and hikes is like a little holiday for my soul.
