Salzkammergut & Ausseerland

Discover the Most Beautiful Corners of the Salzkammergut.

Discover the highlights of the Salzkammergut within one week: from the hotel/restaurant ‚Weisse Rössl’ in St. Wolfgang up to the alpine pastures above lake Wolfgangsee and onwards to the venerable Ausseerland, embraced by dozens of mountain tops of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage ‚Dachstein’ region. Finally a trip to Hallstatt, the most striking and unusual little town on a lake in the world. The Salzkammergut is characterised by rugged and lovely tops and here and there a small lake is situated at the foot of a mountainside. Lonley paths lead through the varied nature scenery. It is worth  taking a break and enjoying the views into the distance and internalising the beauty of what you can see. The Ausseerland, surrounded by mountains and only accessible over saddles, is a very special beauty spot in the Salzkammergut.
