Today’s scenic stage takes you deep into the heart of the Montseny Natural Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve known for its biodiversity, lush Forests, and rolling mountain landscapes. You’ll hike through El Brull, a small mountain village with a Romanesque church and sweeping views of the Montseny massif, until you finally reach the village of Aiguafreda on the southern edge of the park.

This hike is more gentle and offers an unforgettable ascent up to the spectacular ‘Cingles de Bertí’ cliffs. The panoramic view over the Congost River valley and the Montseny massif is simply breathtaking. The highlight of the day is the Sant Miquel de Fai Monastery. On the descent, the trail winds past terraces, medieval ruins, hidden cascades, and waterfalls – every step reveals a new secret of the landscape. You’ll spend the night in a beautifully restored 17th-century mill.

After a short ride to the start of the stage, a tranquil hike through pine forests, fields and woodland paths awaits you, leading you toward Sant Llorenç Savall. The well-marked trails ensure a relaxing and memorable hiking experience. Upon arrival at your accommodation for the night, look forward to the warm hospitality of your host family, who will give you a heartfelt welcome.

Today’s itinerary allows you to experience some of the most symbolic landscapes of the Catalan mountain range Serralada Litoral. With the peaks of La Mola and El Montcau you experience two of the most impressive peaks of this mountain scenery. Finally you reach the Medieval village of Mura, nestling amidst the stillness of these mountains.

Discover the wonderful, hidden side of Sant Llorenç del Munt National Park, located between Mura and the town of Rellinars. The landscape is mainly characterised by Mediterranean pine forests and numerous streams.

The final day is all about the renowned Benedictine monastery Santa Maria de Montserrat, which impresses particularly with its location, built on top of and amidst rock needles of the Holy Mountain. Enjoy one more time the fabulous views into the distance onto Catalonia’s hinterland all the way to the coast.
