It doesn’t take too much to make a party memorable: a little sunshine, refreshing drinks, and that unmistakable team spirit in the air. This year, our summer party embraced a special theme—sustainability. How can this vital topic be woven together with learning, joy, and a strong sense of community? Read on to find out!
An Annual Highlight
Our summer party is much more than a casual afternoon with colleagues—it’s a much-anticipated annual tradition. This year, on August 7th, we came together once again to celebrate under beautiful skies on our company grounds in Obertrum. As in past years, all employees played an active role in planning and organizing the event and what made this year extra special was a strong emphasis on sustainability, a theme that was woven throughout the entire day and every aspect of the celebration.
Sustainable Cycling Holidays – Now Certified
As a nature-focused travel provider, sustainability and environmental responsibility aren’t just important to us—they truly lie at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we’re proud to announce our official certification as a sustainable tour operator by Travelife.
The completion of our certification provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate an afternoon summer party entirely focused on sustainability. Through various interactive stations, we aimed to engage our team and share knowledge about sustainability in a fun and interactive way.

Project Management & Sustainability
Upcycling Made Easy
We made sure everyone was well taken care of with a delicious selection of vegetarian dishes and meat options, with catering by Marc Duncan from Hallwang. The sweet finale came in the form of homemade desserts, lovingly prepared by our colleagues. Naturally, sustainability played a key role here as well: no plastic—just real tableware, generously provided by our neighbor. Even the decorations embraced the upcycling theme, with old yogurt jars and bottles creatively repurposed into vases and decorative accents, adding a charming touch to the atmosphere.
Hands-On Sustainability
To make sustainability not just a topic of conversation but a hands-on experience, this year’s event featured an interactive station-based challenge. In small groups, participants tackled five different tasks—each centered around a key aspect of sustainability. From proper waste sorting and a bike inner-tube relay to creative explorations of food production and how to make the most of leftovers, every station offered fresh insights and plenty of fun. And as a thank-you for taking part, each participant received a brand-new T-shirt—produced by GWS (Geschützte Werkstätten), an inclusive workshop based in Salzburg. A thoroughly successful celebration!
Our anniversaries
A big thank you also goes to our long-standing colleagues who have been part of our team for five or even ten years and whom we were able to celebrate in style at the summer party.
