Black Forest – Lake Constance

Take a hike through romantic valleys

Have you ever seen the largest low mountain lake in Germany? The Titisee in the Black Forest owes its origin to the Feldberg Glacier, whose moraines form its banks today. To get to Lake Constance, walk along the country path through romantic valleys and unspoilt forests. Passing the small village, all hard-working hikers finally head to Singen via the volcanic cone of the Hegauberge.

Finally, you will reach Lake Constance in the border triangle. In addition to Germany and Austria, Switzerland also has a share of the Lake Constance region. Once in Redolfzell, let your mind wander and look back on the last few days of hiking.

Details about the hiking holiday from the Black Forest to Lake Constance

The hike leads from the Saiger Höhe above the Titisee to the Hochfirst. From there you can expect a fabulous view of the lake, the Feldberg and the summits of the Austrian and Swiss Alps.

Very good tour
A very good tour through lovely, quiet country (good weather too). Eurohike's, Thomas Wallner and Helene Edtmeier were particularly helpful with hotel booking and information about local buses. I recommend this tour to everyone.

Very good
Very pretty countryside and very comfortable hotels. Some great view points and interesting places to see. A huge contrast between castle Hohentwiel and the robbers' castle in the Wutachschlucht. I would recommend this holiday to anyone who likes walking and Germany.

Excellent walk
Six walking days on a well planned route, including an exciting river gorge, ridge walks with excellent views of the high Alps, and a tour of some of the Hegau hills. Radolfzell was a wonderful place to relax at the end.
