An evening dedicated to togetherness

What could be better than getting together on a balmy summer evening, toasting the goals we’ve achieved together, and simply having a good time? Every year, the summer party offers the chance to celebrate together in a relaxed atmosphere and spend some wonderful hours with one another. We share anecdotes from everyday life at Eurofun, raise our glasses, laugh a lot, and catch up on the latest gossip. On July 30, it was that time again: Our courtyard was transformed into an event venue, DJ Mike provided summery party music, and a lavish buffet left nothing to be desired.

A culinary journey through our regions

One thing is clear: Enjoying regional delicacies is an essential part of any active vacation. Our travel destinations have a lot to offer in terms of cuisine, so we took this as an opportunity to sample dishes from our active travel destinations at our summer party. Each department contributed specialties from one of our travel regions. The result was a colorful buffet featuring the crème de la crème of delicacies from our travel destinations. Creative pretzel finger food skewers, radish, and beer immersed us in Bavarian hospitality. Oven-fresh focaccia, caprese, pasta salad, and polenta slices evoked the Lake Garda region. Flammkuchen, quiche, and ratatouille transported us to Provence and Alsace. Crispy Schüttelbrot, full-flavored mountain cheese, and bacon evoked South Tyrol, while pumpkin seed oil spread and Käferbohnensalat are typical of Styria. Not to mention the wonderful Zelten with potato cheese, representative of our home region, the Salzkammergut. The Swiss sausage salad and a delicious carrot cake perfectly complemented Switzerland’s culinary hospitality. Those with a sweet tooth were also thoroughly satisfied: from apple strudel to tiramisu, every desire was fulfilled. This buffet was rounded out by grilled specialties prepared by our grill masters from the organizing team. The result: the full culinary diversity of Europe on our plates.

Congratulations

We are proud when our colleagues contribute to Eurofun’s success with dedication and passion over many years. This year, we once again honored two employees who have been part of the team for ten years. A heartfelt thank you to Patrizia from Accounting and Christian from Marketing for their valuable contributions and long-standing loyalty!

We also had reason to celebrate with two other colleagues: Bettina from Administration has successfully completed her training in labor law, and Christina from Marketing recently got married. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to both of them on these wonderful occasions and wish them all the best for the future!

Eurofun Sustainability Quiz

Our sustainability team once again came up with something special for this year’s summer party: A diverse mix of teams competed against each other in the big Eurofun Sustainability Quiz. Participants faced tricky questions on the topic of sustainability at Eurofun. The quiz was complemented by surprising tasks and challenges that required not only knowledge but also skill and the use of all the senses. Those who had carefully studied the sustainability report beforehand had a clear advantage, and our team’s musical talents were also put to the test. As they tinkered, discussed, and puzzled over the challenges, our team once again demonstrated team spirit, creativity, and a sense of humor.
