30.03.2020 – All destinations
Numerous countries have imposed a basic ban on entry and exit, as well as restriction on freedom of movement. Due to the current situation and the latest measures taken by the Austrian government, we have decided to cancel the following tours:
- Cycle tours and Bike & Boat tours in all destinations with arrival up to and including 17.04.2020.
- Eurohike Original Tours to all destinations with arrival up to and including 30.04.2020.
Changes and cancellations are of course free of charge. Our team will inform all affected guests over the next few hours.
In addition, no new bookings for trips with arrival until the end of May will be accepted for the time being, thank you for your understanding.
All arrivals due after the specified dates will take place as planned. Our guests are welcome to rebook their active holiday free of charge up to three weeks before arrival. Free cancellation of these trips is currently not possible. If it is not possible to run these trips due to travel warnings, these trips will also be cancelled free of charge and the guests concerned will be informed.
We will always strive to answer your questions as quickly and accurately as possible.
10.03.2020 – Travel destination Italy
The health of our guests is our top priority, and your safety while travelling is our greatest concern.
Therefore, we have decided from today not to operate any active tours in Italy with arrival dates until, and including, 17.04.2020. Trips that have already been booked can of course be rebooked, free of charge, to a later date or an alternative route or cancelled free of charge.
Customers who have booked an active holiday in Italy with an arrival date up to and including 01.05.2020, are able to rebook free of charge up to two weeks before arrival.
We ask you to get in touch to discuss your options. For all further arrivals we will act according to the current situation.
We would be very happy to welcome you at a later date or on an alternative route.
We take your concerns regarding the development of Coronavirus very seriously and do not want to dramatize or downplay the current situation, especially in (Northern) Italy. However, assessing the current situation is not easy at the moment. We are therefore in constant direct contact with our employees, partners and the responsible local authorities in order to receive the best possible information first-hand.
Our trips in (northern) Italy mainly begin in early/mid-April. The responsible local authorities are currently doing everything necessary to calm the situation as quickly as possible. It can therefore be assumed that in most cases, there is nothing standing in the way of a cycling holiday in the 2020 season, and therefore no need to change the majority of tours booked.
If, contrary to these expectations, the case should change for tours already booked, we will contact affected guests at least 3 weeks before the arrival date to make changes to the booking (rebooking/cancellation). As soon as we have new, helpful information, we will inform you immediately via our website.
As the well-being of our guests is always our top priority, we have also included the ‘Eurobike Safety Package’ for new bookings. 3 weeks before arrival, bookings to affected regions can be rebooked or cancelled free of charge. This is how we ensure that your cycling holiday takes place in a relaxed environment – and you can also look forward to it.
