From the north shores of Lake Garda you walk along ancient pilgrim routes through the rock deserts of the Sarca-valley down into the Etsch-valley to Trento. From there you proceed into the wonderfully quiet valley of Valsugana, which was already utilised by the Romans along the Via Claudia in order to reach the Adriatic Sea. Here you come across imperial spa towns and historic forts, busy village centres invite you to an adventurous exploration. You experience the Lake Garda mountains, the Vizentiner Alps, the high summits of the Cima Dodoci, you walk through an open-air art exhibition and get to know the rivers Brenta, Sile, Sarca and Etsch. Glistening lakes and high mountains are your constant companion. The high-altitude paths above the Brenta-valley guide you downhill into the wine-growing region of Bassano del Grappa. Through the impressive river landscape of the Sile Nature Park you reach the lagoon region of the UNESCO – World Heritage Site Venice.

First thing you see will be the blue waters of Lake Constance and the rolling green hills of Appenzell. Far behind the massive peaks of Alpstein and Churfirsten tower up proudly. On the first legs the Alpine Panorama Trail lives up to ist name. But not only the scenic hikes will enchant you, also the traditional, painted houses in Appenzell and the lively traditions of Appenzell and Toggenburg will quickly cast a spell on you.

Der Rheinwald und die stillen Bergseen sind ein idyllischer Kontrast zu diesen kargen Welten aus Fels und Wasser. Das gemütliche Dorf Splügen bietet einen willkommenen Zwischenstopp, bevor Sie Ihre Wanderung hinauf zum Splügenpass führt. Schon die Römer haben diese Handelsroute begangen, die damit zu den ältesten Säumerpfaden Europas zählt. Die Via Spluga bietet einen wunderbaren Mix aus Geschichte und Kultur, eingebettet in eine der schönsten Landschaften der Schweiz.

The Kingdom of Fife can look back on moving history. Picts and Scots fought here for supremacy and fought together against invasions of Viking tribes from Denmark. At the same time, the sea was the livelihood of fishermen and innumerable villages are witness to the prosperity and to the traditions originating from fishing. Extensive parts of the coast are under conservation and the former kingdom of Fife appears largely untouched and wild. The Fife Coastal Path takes you along this historic coast. Picturesque castle ruins, lively fishing villages and pristine sandy beaches make this long-distance trail one of the most beautiful in Scotland.

Discover on the ’West Highland Way’ the spectacular landscape of Scotland Western Highlands. The tour leads through small characteristic villages, untouched nature reserves and past several whisky distilleries such as ‚Glengoyne Distillery’, whisky tasting included. Through rocky scenery, past blue lakes and through Medieval villages you hike through the middle of the Central Pyrenees. During the crossing of the main crest, you get to know the Atlantic North side as well as the Mediterranean South side of the mountain chain. There is hardly an area in Europe featuring such an array of high-contrast landscapes, such as the ‚Gran Bucle‘. With more than 200 high mountain lakes it is simultaneously one of Europe‘s larges lake districts. This hiking trip offers the unique experience of discovering three countries in one week. The south of Austria meets Italy and Slovenia. Experience an exciting and easy hiking trip in impressive mountain and natural landscapes characterized by the three cultures of the countries. Starting from Villach you go on to Italy where you walk through a small part of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. A highlight of the tour is certainly the Italian pilgrimage town of Monte Lussari. No less impressive is the Slovenian part of the hiking tour, as it leads to the Triglav National Park and the fashionable ski resort of Kranjska Gora - also known as the Kitzbühel of Slovenia.
