2nd – 7th Day: Walking schedule
Monday: Loop tour „majestic Esperanza forest“
Walk on comfortable paths through varied vegetation with projecting pines, huge eucalyptus and strawberry trees. On the balcony path you enjoy amazing views over wide valleys, the coast of Santa Cruz, Anaga mountain range as far as Gran Canaria. In the middle of Esperanza forest you have a picnic with homemade tapas. Walking time: approx. 3 hrs.
Tuesday: Loop tour "on the trail of the Guanches “
Varied walk with magnificent views over the rugged Anaga Mountains, with its steep slopes, isolated hamlets and villages. By most traditional laurel forest of Tenerife, and later on a nice panorama path, it goes into the small cave village Chinamada. Here live the few natives still in living caves. Visit of a musical cave dweller and retreats in a Canarian restaurant. Walking time: approx. 3.5 hours.
Alternative on Tuesday: Loop tour „Pico del Teide“
Guided hike on Teide, the highest summit of Spain. Hike up to the summit of Teide on 3.718 m and enjoy spectacular views of the Canary Islands. Walking time: approx. 3 hrs. Available against surcharge.
Wednesday: Loop tour “fascinating Ruiz Canyon“
Very close to Puerto de la Cruz you walk through one of the most interesting and beautiful canyons of Tenerife. The Ruiz-canyon, once the retreat of the natives, you can expect today with a variety of the Canary Island flora - and fauna. Your path leads downhill through a lush "forest" and provides views over the wild surf of the blue Atlantic. Walking time: approx. 3 hrs.
Thursday: Loop tour „Masca-gorge & dolphins“
Tiny village Masca is the starting point of today. You walk downhill and encounter spectacular rock formation. At a lovely natural beach (possibility to swim) at the end of the gorge a boat waits for you to bring you out to the dolphins. Walking time: approx. 4 hrs.
Friday: Loop tour „gorgeous Anaga mountain range“
In the oldest mountain range in the island of Tenerife, the Anaga Natural Park, you start your hike with stunning panoramic views of Tenerife's north-east, to the impressive Mount Teide, Santa Cruz and to Gran Canaria. On ancient donkey paths through a diverse flora and past the changing scenery images, it goes contrary to the sunny coast - a picture gorgeous tour! Walking time: approx. 4 hrs.
Saturday: Loop tour „Teide National Park“
Today you explore Teide National Park on 2000m above sealevel. Walk along the crater of the original volcano with solidified lava streams at the feet of steep volcano Teide. A breathtaking volcano scenery, multicoloured rocks and a view on Teide will make this day an unforgettable experience. Walking time: approx. 3 hrs.
Sunday: Loop tour „Teno-mountain range“
Spectacular walk in Teno-mountain range. You walk on a balcony path with splendid views on Masca, Teide and the neighbour islands La Palma and La Gomera. The path gets you close to a natural phenomenon – the meteorological devide – to the right the cloudy, green north and to the left the sunny, dry south. Comfortable descent into El Palmar valley. Walking time: approx. 4 hrs.
8th Day: Individual journey home or extra days
Group size: max. 15 persons. The participants of the daily walking tours form every day new, therefore no minimum group size has to be reached.

Detailed information
- During the walking week you stay in a pretty and comfortable 4**** star hotel in Puerto de la Cruz. The hotel is located in a tranquil residential area, approx. 10 walking minutes to the centre. After the walking tours you can relax in the 8.000 m² large garden with two lovely pools.
